This damp rated wall sconce from Kichler Lighting is offered in a brushed nickel finish.
Not quite contemporary, not fully traditional - this Kichler Wharton wall sconce vanity light envelops Edith Wharton's principles of design. Intriguing concepts of basic shapes complement the finish and cased glass shade. Symmetry and balance are complemented by intriguing design elements and graceful curves that add architectural interest.
Compatible with energy-saving medium-base LED or 9-13W CFL bulbs
Tasteful in any room, but also rated for safety in humid indoor areas like kitchens and bathrooms
I've been very happy with these sconces, which are mounted in a fairly narrow space available on both sides of our vanity mirror. The satin nickel finish is beautiful. The light bulb does not show through the frosted glass at all, but illuminates the vanity space very well without being harsh (even with CFL bulbs).
Kirchler fixtures have always shown to be of the highest quality. We looked at, literally, hundreds of fixtures, at stores from here to California. And, while we never saw these fixtures "in person", we bet that they would be of the quality for which Kirchler is known. Fit, finish, design...ordered them from a catalog and were not disappointed! We had no experience with ATG Stores going in to this purchase, but were totally satisfied with all aspects of the purchase. I find myself checking their stores, first, when looking to buy. Now, and this is important no matter where you shop, you must be conscious of price. Several items I shopped at ATG, I found much cheaper locally...on the shelf! This surprised me a bit. I figured that "drop shipping" from the factory (no inventory, handling amd such) would bring the cost down. But, still, I would recommend Kirchler and ATG Stores without hesitation.
