This accordion wall mirror is a must-have for every bathroom. The two-sided mirror is attached to an accordion arm which can extend an amazing 26-in out from the wall. The traditional style, classic finish and quality construction, along with the 3x magnification on one side make this piece pleasing to any bathroom.
Wall mounted installation
Note: Residents of New York and California may have slightly longer lead times.
One reason we bought the mirror was because it came in the satin nickel option, which matched the finishes on the other hardware and fixtures in our remodeled bathroom. The quality also looked better than the usual wall mirrors that don''t accordion, but swivel out on two long arms. We were not disappointed. The mirror is well made and looks good, and my wife loves the magnifying feature. The accordion feature let''s it retract out of the way quite well, and it''s very sturdy, even when fully extended. It might be a bit expensive, but I think it was worth the cost.
My wife asked for a mirror that could be used to see the back of her hair. I found one at Fixture Universe. When it arrived, I mounted on the wall, that was perpendicular to the main mirror in the Master Bath.
My wife loves it. When she's done, it retracts out of the way.
Fixture Universe provided the product at a good price and shipping was free! Would do business with them again.
I had one of these type mirrows a few years back and sold it with the house where it was installed. Didn't know where to get one till I found it on your web site. The full extension to the front edge of the vanity is great. Allows pruning my beard and the back of my neck easy. When fully extended two hands are necessary to retract. That's OK since it becomes very compact against the wall. A bit pricy.
Compared to non accordion style extendables a fair price for this would seem around $75.
If it weren't for the picture on the box I might have installed it upside down. Installation was easy, the description given on the site was helpful and accurate (extended length, mirror dia. etc.). There's a slight wobbliness inherent to the accordion design, but it's a nicely made product and I'm very happy with it.
Instructions need improvement, first hole too small, second hole too large. Had to make a l7 mile trip to hardware store for replacement parts to install the mirror. Should include drill size, parts did not expand.
