I bought this product to be hardwired on a wall to a remote switch on a different wall. I assumed since the product was advertised as "hardwired", that it would come with the necessary components to hard wire it. Unfortunately, the towel warmer arrived with a plug - and I then needed to order a separate "hardwire kit", which just arrived a few days ago. The hard wire kit has no instructions as to how to convert the plug. I wouldn't expect that the manufacturer wants me to cut the plug off - hopefully my electrician will know what to do with it.
