About the Victorian Collection
By selecting and perfecting your bathroom/kitchen setting, it requires time and patience in getting the right products. Most who appreciate the antique look will acknowledge the style of the Victorian collection. Inspired by the traditional design of the exquisite hourglass handles or porcelain coated (whichever benefits you) levers, the Victorian visage combines sophistication with beauty. Its small orb-shaped escutcheons and sleek angular spouts emit grace along with the multiple color finishes, allowing more than one option in decorating.
When people see my remodeled bathroom, they love the sink and faucet. Yes, it looks great. It has not been without problems, though. First, the disc that stablizes the faucet from under the countertop was inadequate. Within a week this flimsy piece of metal was bent, allowing the faucet to wobble and lean with use. My boyfriend replaced it with a thick piece of plexiglass that now holds the faucet erect and sturdy. Second, the handle comes unscrewed a little bit with each use and I find myself having to retighten it frequently; a relatively minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless. I guess I could glue it or something if it was bothering me that much. The oil-rubbed bronze finish is holding up very well. Overall, it's a lovely accent and serves it's purpose.
