I wanted a single piece rod, with NO extensions like one rod inside the other, because the curtain can get the annoyingly stuck in the most minimum bump, and/or an extended rod can flex outside&inside because the slack or allowance between 2 pipes of different dimensions, this Harney Hardware 5146308 Curved Shower Rod ended-up being a sturdy ONE piece rod that does not move, not even up&down at the apex nor with the weight of the curtain or by hand, due to excellent fitting of the wall brackets.
