This light fixture was bought to go in a small foyer. It is the perfect size and you don't have to buy special bulbs for it. We have 2 60 watt bulbs in it now and it produces much needed light for the area. I am just thrilled with the light from the regular bulbs to the fancy scrolls.
At the end of the day the fixture was fine; however, be prepared to sweat a bit. The small round nuts and plastic washers for the globe are a challenge to install after the fixture is secured to the ceiling.

I looked all over for a semi-flush mount light for my entryway and did not like anything that I saw at any of the stores. I found this one online and absolutely love it. The detail is cute, and the color of the shade is perfect.
The instructions were not the best----screws needed to be inserted before the braket was installed. There was no room after the fact. Also, I followed instructions exactly and ended up with a fixture hanging 2-3 inches below the ceiling. I finally just took an end cap to the local hardware store, found a screw that fit and then two nuts that fit that screw. I returned home with $.30 in hardware (nuts) and was able to tighten the fixture so that the base was flush with the ceiling. A screw cutter finished the installation.
