Sea Gull's outdoor bullets are designed to mold, direct and shape light right where you need it. Choose from a wide range of styles with various lighting effects to achieve the look and illumination you need.
I installed four of these in the garage of my new house, and am very happy with the illumination provided. This is in comparison with my previous home where I installed four twin tube 48 inch fluorescent light fixtures, in the garage. It is extremely inconvenient to change fluorescent tubes on a high ceiling, and those tubes do not last nearly as long as flood/spot light bulbs. Another factor in favor of the change in lighting is radio interference, which is important if you like to listen to the radio when you are working in the garage. I also installed five pairs of these on the exterior of my new house, but there was a problem because the electrical junction boxes are surface mounted with external conduit system. The mounting plate of these lights will not fit on those boxes, so my electrician found a replacement mounting plate that is flat and fits.
I ordered this light for the front to light up our circular drive at night. I looked around our local stores at first but cold not find the right one. I ordered it on web, and it arrived very quickly. It works very well.
This flood light has an atypical mounting. It should have been made to screw into a standard weatherproof mounting box, which is installed on the outside of the garage. The catalogue picture and description did not have enough detail. If it had shown a picture of how it would mount to an existing weatherproof box, I would not have bought it, because it cannot mount to that box. This is not the item I was looking for, but am stuck with it. It is too much trouble to re-box and return to the seller. The mounting lugs are made of cheap aluminum or pot metal, and one lug was partially stripped out, but I am going to have to keep the light fixture. Returning is not a good option. It is too much trouble. I just wanted a light to go over my garage, not an ordeal.

Good Quality Product
By The Mine Guest from Tampa, FL on Apr 07, 2013
Purchased three of these floodlight fixtures to replace old roof eaves mounted units that had been on our house for over twenty years. These are very similar an appearance to the previous units but somewhat more streamlined. I was very pleased with the quality and look of these new floodlights although they are quite expensive compared to competing products. Being white they blend in well with the color of the soffitts - Time will tell if they will last as long as our old units, but it appears that they will based on their sturdiness.
