The light is built Ok. Dollarwise, the price is competitive. If it were not for the problem described below, I would have given it 5 stars. The electronic ballast starts instantly and is very quiet. With the 4 T8 tubes you have plenty of even light when mounted about 9 feet above grade. My problem lies with the lens cover plate latch. The design makes it hard to close the the cover. You have to pinch the latch and than press the cover up into position. This action tends to push the entire light assembly up and out of the ceiling grid. There are brackets that are supposed to hold the light in the grid but they don't always do so. Lights that I have used in the past have the cover secured with a latch that pivots on the lens cover into the frame. They do not load the the light assembly vertically and in my opinion are a far superior design. I purchased 14 of these lights for a job, I doubt if I will do it again.
