This golden Titanic brass bell was originally used on cruised ships to signal for meal time. When struck the bell sounds off clear and distinct.
Comes with a bulkhead or a mount bracket
The words "Titanic 1912" has been engraved on the side of the bell
It can my mounted in any home, office or ship
A ships bell is usually made of bronze or brass and often has the ships name engraved on it. Strikes of a ships bell are used to indicate the hour aboard a ship and thereby to regulate the sailors duty watches and meal times.
I built my son a pirate ship bed and this bell hangs off the front side of the ship's wheel. The tone is very "good" and the mounting arm bends easily, but I wouldn't expect more considering what I paid.
