A fire pit is a great addition to any yard or patio, and can provide warmth and ambiance to an outdoor living space during any time of the year. Fire pits also sometimes come as part of coordinating seating group, and can help keep an outdoor entertaining space stylish and cohesive.

In terms of different types of fire pits, wood burning fire pits are the most popular option and provide the rustic ambiance of open flames with the natural charm of the scent of wood smoke. Wood fires also are great for roasting marshmallows or hot dogs, for camp-out fun without having to leave home. Propane fire pits are a more convenient option that can turn on with the push of a button or turn of a knob. Propane burns cleanly and makes warm and lovely flames, but this type of fire pit may be a bit more expensive to fuel than a wood burning fire pit.

There are also many different options to choose from in regards to the style and construction of your fire pit. We carry metal fire bowl style pits, stone and concrete fire pit tables, and cast metal fire rings, among other options. Fire bowl styles of fire pits are usually wood burning, and are a safe option to help contain flames and keep your yard and patio protected. A fire pit table is a great addition for an entertaining space, and can add an exciting centerpiece to any gathering, while making it easy for guests to keep toasty while seated around it. Fire rings are the least formal option of these, and are meant to be placed directly on the ground, keeping the fire from spreading outside of their enclosure. Fire rings should not be used on decks or patios, and should be used only in spaces that have ample room free of flammable brush or plants.
