About the Vintage Collection
This is our original collection that shows products dated from the 1600's all the way through our current time. It is a great example of how we captured the different changes through each century. The Swarovski Crystal was one of the last series to be added to this collection and shows how people changed their mind and views on hardware. It wasn't just something you put on a piece of furniture to make it functional it was something you used to turn your furniture into a piece of art in your home.
We bought these knobs as "to have something" for two hutches we repainted. The other pulls on the hutches are themed, but for the lower doors we wanted something less flashy since they won't be so much seen. The price on these were excellent so we bought them thinking "they'll do." However, they are actually perfect and will not be replaced.
The only reason they are only "almost perfect" is the frustration we experienced with the screws. The "cut off" screws were a bit of a problem, but the local hardware store was helpful in getting them cut off to the right length.
These knobs are lovely. Elegant and beautifully finished. They coordinate with my kitchen cabinets and countertops and with a Louis XI style chandelier nearby. I ended up buying backplates by Alno that work nicely with them and really help them stand out.
