Light too Low, Bulbs Go Bad Quickly, Sockets Go Bad . . .
By I Own 2 from Los Angeles, CA on Aug 24, 2010
The light fixture itself is good looking. The quality of the components are not good. The light is not bright, the bulbs go bad quickly and the bulb sockets go bad.
It is difficult to find and purchase the right G9 bulbs.
It is almost impossible to find and replace the defective sockets.
These are things to consider when looking at this fixture.

Beautiful light but does not stand the test of time.

We purchased this fixture to hang over our dining room. The light is beautiful, but took a long time to assemble and install. Definetely a two man job. After almost two years of having it, we have had to replace 7 bulbs already and now one of the sockets is defective. I am now in the search of a replacement socket. Hope this helped, sometimes is better to hear from someone who has owned the item for a long time. Good luck.
I put this fixture over my island in my kitchen and it's a real conversation piece. Everyone who walks in comments on how much they love it. I'm very pleased. It also gives off cool patterns on the ceiling.
I love this light. We put it over our glass conference tables and it just looks really good.

The light was great. We have it over our island in the kitchen. It comes w/3 different size rods to adjust the light. However, I wish that one rod would have been 2 inches smaller, so that we could actually see that bottom of the light when we walk into the kitchen (b/c that is the part that u would really want to see for the "WOW" effect (like in the picture). The wattage of the light could probably be lower. It comes w/75watts, which is WAY to bright. It still looks great though. We have it on a dimmer, which makes it look even better. The construction was great. You get what you pay for. I thought that it would be a pain to clean, but it's not at all. Our kitchen is wood & stainless steel. It really looks amazing. I'm glad that we bought it. No regret, which is surprising b/c we are VERY picky!!!! lol.
It took me more time to put together the lamp than it did to actually connect the wires. The construction of the lamp was terrible, I had to take apart what came together already in order to assemble the glass pieces properly. Everything was crooked and not fitting smoothly. Finally the lamp was assembled and we could actually install it on the ceiling. Also, be careful what the website states. Bulbs are included with the lamp and they are 75 watts, not 60.
