This Pull Indoor Door Handle from Allied Brass Mfg. is available in a satin brass finish.
Tango Pull Indoor Door Handle
Allied Brass is proud to offer the latest contemporary center to center trim, auxiliary door, cabinet and refrigerator pull hardware products for the kitchen and bath. These solid brass pulls are available in many different center-to-center measurements, in a variety of designs and finishes that not only look great, but also provide long-lasting wear in any application. Each versatile pull makes it easy to coordinate the look and feel of your interior design with easy to install options for invisible mounting. Product is made to order.
At about 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of brass door pulls of this sort from other manufacturers, this is a good buy. The finish is good, and the overall appearance is acceptable. The piece is assembled from stock pieces, with no fitting, but it’s not a problem at any distance, and the price easily makes up for any minor gaps you might not find in more expensive cast and hand-fitted pieces.
Most door pulls of this type are attached from the back with fairly substantial machine screws, often settled in cup washers; for reference, this is the same way almost all drawer pulls are mounted. This pull, however, is anchored by four small wood screws attached from the front (this isn’t clearly obvious in the picture). This limits the amount of strain the pull can handle without loosening or pulling out the screws, and it may limit location. So if you have a heavy door to move, or if folks at your place tend to jerk – rather than pull – a door open, this may not be for you.
My situation may be an anomaly, maybe not ~ it took six weeks from order to delivery.
