This hook is very attractive and quite functional. It looks upscale compared to the run-of-the-mill hook you would typically find on the back of a closet door. The smaller, side hooks are good for hanging jackets, coats, or backpacks, and the large hook seems handy for hats and caps. Since the large hook extends up quite far, it may be prone to breakage if you try to hang something extremely heavy from it or if someone pulls down on it with force, but it seems well made for normal usage. I am very pleased with the design, finish, and price of the hook.
One note, however: the screws packed with the hook inside the sealed plastic bag were not 1-inch screws as described in the product listing; they are 5/8" in length.
I used these to make my own coat rack (I used a total of seven hooks.) They were about a dollar cheaper than the same hook at my local hardware stores. The hooks are strong and came with three screws each. I am a happy customer!
