An entryway table is a decorative and functional piece of furniture that can offer the perfect spot to set things next to the front door. Whether you need a space to set your keys when you come home or want somewhere to place items where they won’t be forgotten on the way out the door, a small table can do big things for your organization. It can also serve as a pedestal to display art or décor in a prominent space where it is sure to be noticed.

But of course, all this functionality wouldn’t be complete without an appealing appearance too. As one of the first pieces of furniture that anyone entering the home will see, an entry table has a unique role in helping to frame the style of the rest of the home. We offer a great selection of entryway tables in nearly every style imaginable from rustic wood styles and traditional designs to ultra modern entry tables made of glass and chrome. So no matter your décor style, you are sure to find one that coordinates.

Be sure to also consider placement and table shape before selecting a piece for your home. There are two standard placements for entryway tables: flush against a wall and in the center of an entryway. A flush console table works best in more standard sized foyers that are more hall shaped, but if you have the luxury of a spacious entry, a round table in the center can be a beautiful and convenient addition (just make sure that the space is large enough to accommodate walking room on both sides of the table). Because of this, most are designed either with smooth curves that usher you into a space or a long flat side that can sit flush against the entry wall. Common options include long rectangular tables, oval or round entry tables, and half-moon (or demilune) designs.
