South Florida. Everglades, where pesky mosquitoes thrive. They are annoying. And they attack us with brutally persistent kamikaze tactics, in parts of your body like ankles, wrists, elbows and necks, and you will not detect them, until after they shewed you up, leaving unsightly rashes and the itch…Read MoreMICHAEL H.
My lanterns are shining very happily. The product performs smartly, by producing a very steady flame. It will not smoke, even when the wick is raised too much. There is no flickering at all, unlike kerosene, which is affected by the slightest impurity, and my practice for many years, indicates thatRead MoreMICHAEL H.

The paraffin lamp oil burns clean and odorless which makes it great for home use, even small rooms. Good product to have ample supply on hand at all times. I recommend the 5 gallon size. Firefly Fuel, Inc. was the result of Phil Tyson's idea to provide a reliable, economical, safe and effective fuel source for Tiki torches, liquid fueled candles and lamps, ventless fireplaces, and fire pots.
The marketplace is full of all sorts of fuels that has created a lot of confusion for the consumer. Firefly Fuel tried many of the fuels and found poor quality, inconsistent usage suggestions, high prices and a hodge podge of wannabe-fuel vendors.
Phil decided to research the fuel industry to determine the truth and find the best products for each specific application.
Firefly Fuel found a lot of distillers that made claims of purity and consistency. Firefly Fuel tested ALL of them and discovered only a few actually performed as advertised. Firefly Fuel then checked each provider to insure adequate supply and consistency of quality.
The list grew very short after all of the research. You would be surprised what is being sold as fuel for tiki torches, candles and ventless fireplaces.
Phil can assure you the FIREFLY Fuel you purchase is as advertised and will be consistent, available and reasonably priced at quantities from 30 oz. to 55 gallon drums.
