The price is great for such a high quality spot. This is very hi-tech looking so it's great for places like architectual settings, art studios.... fits in to an ultra modern or antique look. Easy to install too!
No assembly instructions were included. I would not have needed them if it were not for the optional extension tube - not that they would have been of any real help. The issue? Without the extension the base and light fit perfectly. Threaded nipple fits into the light and is held in place on the base with a nut. The problem is that the tube extension was only threaded on one end. The other end had no nipple or threading inside or out. I needed to spend $15.00 at the hardware store for a tap and handle so I could cut in the treads to accept a nipple to secure to the assembly to the base. This expense and store trip were rather irritating. But - now I do own a nice tap and handle.........that I'll never need again. Other that; a sharp looking fixture of good quality.
I hung these vertically and not horizontally and I was very pleased that they were sturdy enough to support their own weight. Easy enough to install and it''s good they came with a bracket to rotate the base and line up the nuts which ever direction you wanted. As others have said, not quite and polished as they appear in the picture, but a decent price and quality for what they are. Shipping was fair, but the updates were way off and few and far between. They appear longer in the pictures than in real life, so make sure you read the description which is accurate.
Socket support struts were bent and would not tighten (fixed with Loctite). Socket holder was not aligned with gimble ring. Swivel fitting into canopy was bent and needed straightening. Adapter for installation into electrical box was poorly made and needed repair. All together, spent an additional hour repairing the fixture before installing it. Looks good installed.

Ordered two and they shine as stylishly as they do in lumens! Easy to mount, very tech appearance and are economical and use 120 line voltage so dimmers are recommended as well to get full potential from these fine light fixtures!
