The chandelier itself is beautiful but the lightbulbs were a hassle. For this kind of money, bulbs should be included that leave nothing to the imagination. They specified GU10 50 watt bulbs, of which there are MANY brands. Initially we tried bulbs with a clear plastic upper housing. The huge problem was that the faceting in the plastic refracted light in such a way that RED light rays were produced, making the upper half of the chandelier glow PINK, and the bottom half normal. It looked awful. Then we tried GU10s with a metal housing, and that was better, but the opaque housing lets no light shine upwards into the chandelier,so basically the bottom half only is lit. We experimented with different brands, but at the end of the day never found significant differences. So - after all this, we have a beautiful chandelier in which the bottom half only has good illumination. Not a cool thing for the money.
