Although I feel the price was a bit excessive, the fan functions well, providing circulation in a closed bathroom. The customer service personnel at both Matthews Fan Company and Lighting Universe were very helpful in providing technical assistance plus replacement parts.
The fan oscillates separately from the speed of rotation, and both can be remotely controlled. You can use the remote to wire up the fan with one hot and one neutral wire (just like a light) and control fan speed and oscillation separately. Nice feature!
I needed a fan for my master bathroom because when the air conditioner was off it was too still & stuffy. I needed something that was small enough to fit up in the corner of the room with a very vaulted ceiling. This little guy was perfect. Even on low this fan will blow like crazy. It's quiet and the oscillating aspect is awesome. You can point it right where you want it or have it oscillate for extra breeze. It was a little pricey but I think it was worth every penny.
