Used this on a 28 year old Casablanca fan on a 10' x 20' screen porch. It's obviously designed for fans with a cup type bottom cover with horizontal top screws? (Which can only be found out the hard way!) Mine had a bottom plate with vertical screws which were completely hidden by the larger fixture top making re-installation extremely difficult. But it's hard to find a fan light these days rated for damp locations and capable of large lumen output standard base bulbs. I stared with 2 ea. 75 watt equivalent CREE LED's (1100 lumens for 13.5 watts actual) and will be upgrading to 100 watt equivalent (1600 lumens for 16 watts actual). This fixture doesn't get the light out as well as the single socket bee hive globe unit with a single 150 watt equivalent CFL bulb I'd replaced the original 4 lamp projector bulb fixture with years ago.
