Cable for use with the Tech Lighting Kable Lite System.
#10 gauge tin-plated copper cable with Kevlar core.
Rated for 300 watts at 12 volts;600 watts at 24 volts.
Load: 300 watt maximum at 12 volts to 30’ before voltage drop occurs; 600 watt maximum at 24 volts to 60’ before voltage drop occurs.
Kable Lite is designed to make straight lines and simple turns. The cables must be placed so that they pass over the locations of all elements used in the system.
Kable Lite surface transformers and power feed canopies have 24” feeds; Kable Lite run must pass within two feet of the junction box.
Turnbuckles are a required for a complete Kable Lite system. A pair of turnbuckles on each side of the run is recommended.
Supports (Standoffs, Riggers) are required for runs over 20 feet long, or with heavier elements (such as glass pendants).
When determining the length of cable required for a run, multiply the length of the run by two and add an additional 10 percent to feed through turnbuckles. For example, a 20 foot run would require 45 feet of cable.
