I love these pulls. I spent weeks looking for the perfect hardware for a hand-me-down maple dresser I was refinishing. These cost probably 3-4 times as much as other pulls I had seen, but when I ordered one as a sample the quality of these pulls stood out. I was very impressed by the weight, solidness, and finish of these. They also feel quite nice on your fingers when you pull the drawers open. I hesitated at the price, but since the dresser was already 50+ years old and I am hoping to make it last at least 50 more, spending the money on quality pulls seemed worth it.
If you''re just looking for something temporary, or are wanting to update particleboard furniture, or are putting it on a drawer that won''t get much use, you can get a very similar look for much less. However, if you''ve got a quality piece or high-end cabinets and want something that will last for years with daily use, these are worth the money.
One note: these are flush-mount pulls, so you will either need a countersink drill bit or to drill the screw hole all the way through and then re-drill using a wider bit for the top.
The ones I installed are in the Aurora Bronze finish. On the product page they do not have a full-size picture of the color, which is why I''ve uploaded one - the best way I can describe it is sort of a warm silver with copper-ish undertones.
I used these pulls to replance the original ones that came on my furniture. The new pulls really improved the overall look of the piece. The made my piece more classy looking. Hardware can make such a difference when it is good quality.
