I purchased 35 of these handles due to non-standard size handles being replaced (2" and 3.5" center on center). I could not find sizes or handles the same or complimentary in design. I did have to get a replacement for one of the handles that I received that was defective. But the replacement was sent very quickly and the customer service was excellent.
I like the look and flexibility of size of the Deltana pulls. After some frustration of working with them to adjust size and keep the posts perpendicular to the handle, they work well. (I made a template on a wooden ruler.) There were no instructions on how to adjust. There are actually three adjustments. Loosen post from pull, which is actually loosening the "ring" from the post. Adjust ring along handle. Hold posts perpendicular. Temporarily tighten rings - not too tight. Check for correct positioning of posts. Tighten ring to handle and then tight posts to ring.
Be prepared to have another size of allen wrench. The ones included with each handle is not the right size. Also, my "sample" handle included two sets of screws. One of those sets was "break to fit" size needed. They worked well. The remainder of my order only can with one set of screws. I had be purchase the correct size screws from a local hardware store.
The price is good. There are very few "adjustable" size handles on the market. Of those on the market, many are much higher in price.
They met what I was looking for, but I could see others buyers being frustrated with the adjustment process.
We purchased these as a replacement for our glass shower door handles. They look lovely there, but there are a couple of small sharp points that are noticeable sometimes when I use them. The fact they are adjustable enabled my husband to slightly modify and fit the previously drilled holed.
This is an awesome product, and my door and draw pulls were replaced without any extra repairs like filling in hole or painting. I had a problem getting one end to adjust and I called atg for assistance. The representative was very patient and professional, and slowly guided me through the steps needed, and stayed on the phone until my handles were replaced. I highly recommend this product to updated cabinets.
They are really good looking and comfortable to use; look great with stainless appliances. Different from the typical long pull and not too busy. You need an allen wrench to adjust the width though, be forewarned. There is a diff model that has a screwdriver slot but not these.
I inherited a dresser from my Grandma that is at least 60 years old. After refinishing the dresser, I needed new drawer pulls to complete the look. I quickly realized that the length of the drawer pulls needed to be an unconventional length of 4.25 inches.
I searched all over the Internet to find drawer pulls that would actually fit, when I came across these adjustable ones. I held off on buying for the longest time because I needed 8 and didn''t want to spend around $80 just for drawer pulls. I ended up buying them and love them!
Only negative aspect is that the website doesn''t let you know that you have to use an Allen wrench (hex key) to adjust the length. I had to go through all of the reviews to see what others had said in order to find out how to adjust them. Took about 30 minutes to install only because I had 8 and wanted to make sure both sides of the drawer pulls were evenly spaced.
These pulls are outstanding in every respect and will easily pass anyone''s scrutiny. However, conspicuously missing from the instructions is the fact that the standoff for each pull is secured in place with a set-screw that requires the use of a non-furnished hex key (i.e., Allen wrench). Either a 2 mm or 5/64 inch hex key works fine. Attaching the completed pull to furniture can be accomplished with a common screwdriver, either standard slot or Phillips head. NOTE - It is NOT necessary to purchase the ATGStores-suggested Performance Tool WLMW80031 Multi-Bit Screwdriver for adjustment and installation of these pulls, although I did to be on the safe side and don''t regret the purchase. I fault Deltana for the sub-par instructions, but ATGStores needs to provide the supplementary information suggested herein. By the way, hex keys (usually sold in sets) and readily available at hardware stores.
