About the Vintage Collection
This is our original collection that shows products dated from the 1600's all the way through our current time. It is a great example of how we captured the different changes through each century. The Swarovski Crystal was one of the last series to be added to this collection and shows how people changed their mind and views on hardware. It wasn't just something you put on a piece of furniture to make it functional it was something you used to turn your furniture into a piece of art in your home.
Very disappointing. This item is very tiny and cannot be used for my kitchen cabinets. I'm glad I only ordered 1 to see what they were like. I knew they were small but this is really small and not worth anywhere near what I paid.
I tried about five other ring pulls for how they looked with my newly rusticated kitchen cabinets, and this style fit the bill. An initial concern was how well ring pulls would work compared to the handles I used to have, but this one works just fine. It has enough of a relief to make it easy to grab. My other concern was how well they would work with our child-proof latches. That worked just great too by angling the pulls a little. I had to buy longer screws for our 1926 cabinets. Finding the right lengths made the mounting process a little longer, but in the end wasn't that big a deal.
One thing I hadn't thought of before mounting was the pulls' shadows. (I have no idea why I never noticed shadows before). I ended up mounting the pulls a bit higher than I initially planned to incorporate the shadow into the overall look, creating an unexpected detail. I was initially nervous about spending more for a unique pull, but I'm really happy I did. It really helps pull off my kitchen's new look. Have fun!
