I ordered these cabinet backplates for my kitchen cabinets and drawers in order to avoid scratches on my painted cabinetry. I had already retouched the cabinetry twice just from the normal wear and tear around the handles. I purchased these about 3 months ago and there has not been a single scratch since. They are durable, matched my existing cabinet hardware perfectly, and look fantastic. I would most definitely recommend these to potential buyers. It was money well spent!

This backing plate is well made and thick for excellent look with handles. Only caution is that the drilled holes are somewhat larger than mounting screws requiring that handle must have fairly large ends to allow for movement over and through the mounting screw area.

Hickory Hardware Backplate for Cabinet Pull
By Norma Pycha from Fountain Hills, AZ on Jul 19, 2014
This is a beautifully made traditional styled backplate for cabinet pulls. It has only one drawback and that is that the holes are larger than needed for some cabinet pulls, i.e. If the pull's bases are small they will shift off the edges of the backplate holes and be lopsided. We needed to change our pull selection to be sure the pulls would center nicely over the holes when tightened,
