Whirlpool tubs are a luxurious bathtub option that feature jets and recirculating pumps to provide a hydrotherapeutic experience to any bath time. Whirlpool tubs are specially designed to relax your muscles and massage your body with jets that are positioned to direct warm water to areas like the lower and upper back, shoulders, and legs.

Some things to consider when choosing a whirlpool tub for your bathroom include the size of your space, where you would like to place the tub, and what kind of jets you would like. The size of your bathroom is obviously important to consider so that you can purchase a tub that is proportional to the space. While many think of whirlpool tubs as being extremely large, there are actually a wide range of tub sizes from ones that would fit in the same space as a standard alcove tub to expansive 8 foot baths, and range of options in between. Ideally, you should select a tub that gives you plenty of room to soak, but is of a size that doesn't overshadow the rest of the bathroom.

In terms of placement options, we carry tubs that work in standard bathtub placements, as well as more dramatic options such as freestanding whirlpool tubs, and corner whirlpool tubs, among other options. Freestanding tubs are a great option for their elegant appearance and standout placement options, while corner tubs make a statement with their imposing size and ample space. However, both of these options can take up a lot of space, so you’ll need to carefully consider your bathroom layout before deciding which option would work best for you.

When it comes to jets, there are three options to choose from: air jetted, water jetted, or a combination of both of these. These types of jets are exactly what they sound like, with air jets using a rapid flow of air to create streams of bubbles that gently massage the bather, while water jets use aerated water for a slightly more forceful water massage. Some baths feature a combination of these that lets you use them all at once or switch between jet types. Check the specifications of different bathtubs to see which jet type it uses.
