ABOUT MARIO NIEVERA
Mario Nievera, a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Artists (ASLA), founded his eponymous firm in 1996. Mr. Nievera received his bachelor's degree in landscape architecture from Purdue University in 1987, and has since completed numerous projects throughout the U.S., the Caribbean, the Bahamas and China.
Mr. Nievera frequently lectures around the country, is actively involved in the ASLA and donates his firm's design and consulting services to many nonprofit causes. He also serves on the board of directors of several nonprofits including the Cultural Landscape Foundation and the Horticultural Society of New York.
Mr. Nievera's work has been recognized in many national and international design publications, and his firm has earned several awards. Mr. Nievera's book, "Forever Green," was produced in collaboration with design partner Keith Williams and published by Pointed Leaf Press in 2012.
